Theresa Montoya was the top predictor at the Atomic City Roadrunners’ Pace Race Tuesday.
Montoya nipped two other runners with good predictions at the race, which took place on North Mesa starting near Brewer Arena.
At the race, Montoya finished with a 15-second prediction error, topping Ted Romero, who was just 17 seconds off and Tom Sandford, who was 20 seconds off.
On the 1-mile course, Roy Cope was the fastest finisher with his time of 11 minutes, 44 seconds. Georgia Pedicini finished in 14:12, the fastest female finisher.
On the 3-mile course, Nathan Romero was the first finisher, clocking a 19:27. Lynn Bjorkland had a 22:31 on the long course.
The next Pace Race is scheduled for Tuesday.
It will start at the Los Alamos County Ice Rink at 6 p.m.
