Dear Editor,
In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Jan. 21, we would like to encourage Los Alamos to work as a community to help your neighbor – not only on this holiday but every opportunity you might have to help your fellow man. It might be in shoveling your neighbor’s walk or driveway, bringing in his garbage container from the curb to his garage, putting their newspaper to the doorstep, hot soup for someone who is ill. The opportunities are endless to making our world a better place for all.King stated, “I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word in reality.”What better way to honor the spirit of Martin Luther King Jr. than service to help others.Ev GriggsRSVP Advisory CommitteeLos Alamos
