No interruption of natural gas service occurred for area residents. The repair was safely completed by approximately 6:15 p.m. DPU’s Deputy Utility Manager for GWS Timothy Glasco said, “Our GWS division trains regularly on safety protocols, and Dept. of Transportation compliance issues, so that all staff are fully capable of handling this type of situation. This ensures that gas line repairs occur as quickly and safely as possible.”
