Mary Ann Ahlbrand

AHLBRAND – Mary Ann Ahlbrand died the week of Dec. 10, 2007, at her cabin at El Vado Lake. She was born Feb. 15, 1945.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Stam, and her husband, J.T. Ahlbrand.She is survived by two sons, Ronald Duncan of Albuquerque, N.M.; Michael Duncan of Connecticut; her brother John Stam, his wife Verlene and their two children Henry and Ethan, all of Los Alamos; as well as her dog, Sugar, that she dearly loved.Mary Ann served as an optician for approximately 30 years in Albuquerque, the last several years with Lovelace. She was a dedicated worker and well liked in her profession.She had a loving relationship with many who will miss her. No services are scheduled. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to a favorite charity.
