Crime: Nambe resident is suspected of conducting the heist Saturday

The Los Alamos Police Department has arrested the man suspected of committing an armed robbery at Mountain Air Cleaners, 157 Central Park Square, Saturday morning.
Joe D. Holcombe, 40, of Nambe was arrested near Trinity Drive and DP Road a few minutes after the robbery was reported.
The business was equipped with surveillance cameras and LAPD Ofc. Doug Ehlers said officers reviewed the tape and got a description of the suspect.
“Apparently, he walked in and walked out,” Ehlers said, adding that the man stole about “$200ish.”
Capt. Randy Foster said a BOLO (Be On the Look Out) was immediately issued to patrol units around the county.
“Ofc. Alfred Roybal recognized Holcombe as fitting the description,” Capt. Randy Foster said. “He has been charged with armed robbery.”
Police searched Holcombe and recovered the stolen money from the dry cleaners on his person, Foster said. A search warrant was executed on Holcomb’s vehicle.
They discovered a loaded 9 mm handgun inside the vehicle, which is thought to be the same weapon that was used in carrying out the robbery, he said.
Holcombe is being held without bond in the Los Alamos County Detention Center.
Mountain Air Cleaners owner Dina Quintana brought a box of cinnamon rolls to the Los Alamos Police Station Monday with a thank you note: “To the fearless crime fighters of Los Alamos County.”
