HODSON – Lola Frances Hodson, 84, a resident of Los Alamos, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008, of natural causes. She was preceded in death by her son, Patrick Hodson; her parents, Robert J. and Marie Maher; and brother, Wayne Maher. Lola was a homemaker, a member of the Los Alamos Hospital Auxiliary known to many as the “Pink Ladies,” the Altar Society and the church Choir in Los Alamos. She worked at Los Alamos National Laboratory as a medical transcriptionist for 10 years.Lola played drums in her high school band and was a telephone operator during WWII. She never spoke ill of people and was a good friend in a crisis. Lola was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. She had a good sense of humor and loved to watch the Nebraska Cornhuskers play football.Lola is survived by her husband, Ernest K.
