Brandi Sandoval pleaded no contest in Municipal Court to following too closely resulting in an accident. Judge Alan Kirk found Sandoval guilty but deferred her sentence until Aug. 20 pending she not acquire any additional citations. She was ordered to pay a $46 fee.
May 22
Cody Duran pleaded guilty in Municipal Court to failure to display rabies tag, two counts of failure to appear in court, and two counts of having an animal at large. Kirk ordered Duran to pay $315 in court fees and fines.
Christopher Ryan pleaded guilty in Municipal Court to careless driving leading to an accident. Kirk deferred Ryan’s sentence until July 21 pending he complete defensive driving school, do community service and not receive additional citations in the meantime. Ryan has to pay a $46 court fee.
Ian Cornelius, of Los Alamos, pleaded guilty in Magistrate Court to criminal damage to property as part of a plea agreement. Cornelius was initially also charged with aggravated battery and interference with communications. Casados ordered him to 90 days probation and $73 in court fees.
