Pets seeking forever homes

Friends of the Shelter would like to thank Pet Pangaea for sponsoring the colorful holiday full-page ad, Dec. 15, for animals in the Los Alamos Animal shelter.

We appreciate the ongoing support of Pet Pangaea and the Los Alamos Monitor for the goals of Friends of the Shelter. We are always looking for wonderful homes for all of our shelter pets and we appreciate everyone who helps them find their way to their “forever home.”

LAPS Board thanks LANB

To Steve Wells, President, Los Alamos National Bank:

On behalf of the Los Alamos Public Schools and the Los Alamos community, we would like to thank Los Alamos National Bank for investing in the future of our youth. As you are aware, LANB (Lawson Financial) purchased $4,900,000 in General Obligation School Building Bonds, Series 2014.

Your commitment to fiscally assist in the betterment of our school facilities continues a long-standing partnership with LANB.

Needless to say, Aspen Elementary students and staff are thrilled to move forward on the construction phase of their new school.

They wanted you to know that this letter, in addition to thanking you, also serves as your invitation to the ribbon cutting ceremony when school construction is completed in 2015.

In anticipation of the ribbon cutting ceremony, we included the architect’s rendering of Aspen Elementary.
