For decades Los Alamos citizens have been selling and buying personal vehicles from the county-owned lot on Diamond Drive just north of Trinity, otherwise known as the “Lemon Lot.”
With the beginning of phase IV work on Diamond Drive, the Lemon Lot will be moving to make room for the county’s contractor to stage equipment for the two-year road project.
The Lemon Lot will temporarily relocate to the recently abandoned County Annex Building site at 901 Trinity Drive.
Spaces at the new location will become available on April 19 and will accommodate 25 cars/trucks, three motorcycles and two recreational vehicles.
Citizens can reserve permits now by calling the 311 Customer Care Center at 311, 662-8333 or visit the Customer Care Center’s new location at 150 Central Park Square.
