The new video game, “Lego Star Wars III, The Clone Wars,” was finally released on March 22, after it was announced six months ago.
The game follows season one and season two of the “Star Wars the Clone Wars” television series. Anyone who has ever watched any of these episodes will find that this video game is very familiar.
The game includes many characters from the movies and the series, like Obi Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker and Darth Vader, Ahsoka Tano and many more. Plus, there are multiple planets on which to do battles.
Most people may think that Lego’s are for kids, but playing this video game can be surprising. “Lego Star Wars III, The Clone Wars” has many fun features.
First of all, it has a drop in/drop out co-op mode, like all Lego games. Second, similar to Lego Star Wars II, players can build their own characters and fight in flying star fighters.
Unlike other Lego games, this game is more sophisticated and detailed. The graphics are very good in terms of the massive ground and space battles which are violent and chaotic, as Lego body pieces fly everywhere. The game also features a variety of fun weapons such as sniper rifles, Gatling guns, dual blasters, rocket launchers, grenades and light sabers.
Another cool feature for the Nintendo Wii game is that when the player swings the Wii remote, their Lego character swings and fights with his or her light saber.
There is a lot of freedom in this game, meaning there is a large area where characters can wander around and play freely. Players can build elevator doors to secret rooms, build their own bases and fortresses and create battle fights against another player.
This game is rated E-10+ for cartoon violence and crude humor and is available on PS3,
Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, PSP and PC.
This game is well suited for teens and ’tweens.
