The Betty Ehart Senior Center, benefiting the Empty Bowls Project, is sponsoring a bowl building workshop for senior citizens at the Art Center at Fuller Lodge Ceramics Studio.The workshops will be held from 10 a.m. - noon Saturday and Feb. 2. Participants will build a minimum of two bowls, one to keep and the other(s) to donate to the Empty Bowls Project. Cost for the workshop is $20, which covers the cost of supplies. They will fire the bowls in preparation for the second session during which the participants will paint and glaze their bowls.The Art Center at Fuller Lodge contributes to the Empty Bowls Project by generously donating the use of studio space and free kiln firings. All donated bowls will be displayed and sold at the 15th Annual Empty Bowls Project, on March 8 from 11 a.m.- 2 p.m., at the Betty Ehart Senior Center.
