Learn about herbal and natural remedies

-A A +A

From a Press Release

Presenter Kristi Beguin has designed a class for pregnant women, women who are considering pregnancy and people who will support them.
The class, which will teach attendees about herbal and natural remedies, will be offered from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Pajario Environmental Education Center.
Topics include a variety of herbs and natural remedies that can nourish and support a woman’s body during all the stages of pregnancy, including the post-partum months.
Beguin is an herbalist and environmental consultant who studied native, traditional and medicinal uses of plants while earning her degree in ethnobotany and herbology from Evergreen State College.  She also has a Certificate in Herbology.
Her perspective has been shaped by her various roles as avid an outdoors-person, scientist, writer, medicine-maker and mother.
Advance registration is required for this class, and the number of participants is limited.
The cost is $20, or $16 for PEEC members.  Registration is by PayPal at PajaritoEEC.org, by visiting PEEC at 3540 Orange St., or calling 662-0460.
