Los Alamos’ boys won the 400-yard individual medley relay — all events at the Barney meet are relay events. The team of Sam Harris, Max Reidys, Nick Greenfield and Trey Pereya posted a time of 4:12.96 to earn the win in that event.
Along with that victory, Los Alamos also two second-place finishes (200 back relay and 200 medley relay) and the team of Maria Venneri, Ashlynn Bennet, Reidys and Harris were second in the mixed 400 medley relay.
For Los Alamos’ girls, they took second in the 200 freestyle relay, 400 individual medley relay and 200 medley relay. Both the 200 freestyle (1:48.70) and 200 medley relays (2:02.92) earned the Hilltoppers state qualifying times.
