In less than a week, the Los Alamos Monitor’s online counterpart, lamonitor.com, will become a subscription-based news and information site.
Beginning Feb. 1, all of the print newspaper’s valued subscribers will have full access to all of the news and features currently in the print product, plus a number of online-only features such as video, slideshows, reader forums, comments and the full online community that the Website is becoming.
Print subscribers received a letter in early January giving them detailed information about registering to access online content free. If for some reason you did not receive the letter, it’s not too late to go online and complete the registration process at http://www.lamonitor.com/subscription/services.
Readers who frequent lamonitor.com but who are not already subscribers will have the opportunity to sign-up for a free, 30-day online trial. There’s already an option available to subscribe to both print and online, or online only. Either way, by subscribing now you won’t miss any of the valuable coverage available 24/7 at lamonitor.com.
Online subscribers also get the best of both worlds as the Website also boasts an electronic edition of the newspaper. The Los Alamos Monitor is committed to providing the best coverage of local, state and national events and the staff updates the site several times during the day.
Readers who do not sign up for a subscription will have only limited access to the lamonitor.com site. Important stories such as those that impact overall public safety will remain available to all readers, but in-depth features, multimedia, and other interactive features will become subscriber-only access.
If you’re not currently a subscriber, sign-up online today at lamonitor.com or call circulation at 662-5951.
