Every year, National Nurses Week focuses attention on the diverse ways America’s 3.1 million registered nurses work to save lives and to improve the health of millions of individuals.
At Los Alamos Medical Center 106 registered nurses contribute to the health and well-being of LAMC and northern New Mexico.
Annually, National Nurses Week began Monday, marked as RN Recognition Day, and ends May 12, the birthday of Florence Nightingale.
“We deeply appreciate our nurses and we want them to know how much we value the depth of their care and commitment to our, their, patients ,” said Tracie Stratton RN, Chief Nursing Officer at LAMC. “They work long hours and go all out for their patients and we wanted to say thank you.”
