LAHS athletics: Sports contests nixed for the weekend

Los Alamos Public Schools announced early this morning the athletic competitions for this weekend have been postponed.

The effected events include swimming at Albuquerque, basketball here and at Bernalillo and the Bryan Sanchez Memorial wrestling tournament.

The school said the basketball games will likely have to be rescheduled as they are District 2AAAA games. There was no word on the other events, but with swimming and wrestling soon to wrap up their seasons, it seems unlikely they will be rescheduled.
