Los Alamos Fire Department (LAFD) personnel, which included Louisa Martinez (left), Marisha Greigo, Ana Martinez, Chief Doug Tucker, Norma Valdez, Justin and Charlie Grider, 4, served up bowls of Frito pie Tuesday afternoon at Los Alamos National Bank. The lunch was a fundraiser for Katelyn Collier, who has an extra electrical pathway in her heart that causes her to go into supra-ventricular tachycardia or a heart rhythm disorder. Collier’s mother, Renee, works for LAFD. The group raised $1,200 during its Frito pie sale to help cover expenses and is currently hosting a bake sale at the fire administration building on 195 East Road.
