Pull out the dobbers and the lucky charms – it’s time to play bingo to support Los Alamos Right to Life.
The local organization will host a benefit bingo at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Knights of Columbus, located at 401 Trinity Drive.
Besides bingo, soup and snacks have been donated to the event.
The cost of bingo is $14.
Los Alamos Right to Life Vice President Jackie Peckham explained Right to Life is a political organization that campaigns against abortion. She explained the organization supports political candidates who are against abortion as well. For instance, members are currently supporting Pete Dominici Jr., a Republican candidate for governor.
Additionally, the group works on a local level. For instance, Peckham said they help the Hope Pregnancy Center and support the center’s annual fundraiser.
“We try to help out in the community,” Peckham said.
The organization meets at 5:30 p.m. the second Thursday of every month at Mesa Public Library.
