Los Alamos’ Amber Logan and Kiana Zerr hit key field goals late as the Hilltoppers dropped the Sundevils 48-42 at Griffth Gym Saturday night.
The two teams played even for virtually the entire game, but Los Alamos, which made the big plays in the fourth quarter, secured the win.
McKenzie Logan and Erin Kirk both finished with 15 points as part of a balanced scoring attack for Los Alamos. For the Sundevils, their talented guard Lauren Quintana had a game-high 20, but was limited to 6 points in the second half.
