Piedra Vista (2-0) opened with a 12-0 victory in the first game, then earned a 9-1 win in the nightcap.
The two games opened a tough first week of the season for the Hilltoppers (0-2), who open at home this afternoon against the Pojoaque Valley Elks.
Following today’s game, the Hilltoppers will compete in the always tough St. Pius X Invitational, taking on El Paso (Texas) in the first round Thursday afternoon.
