The homestanding Los Alamos Hilltopper football team put the Kirtland Central Broncos back on their heels early Friday night and never let them get on track.
Los Alamos scored a pair of touchdowns in the first quarter as it rolled to a 34-0 shutout win Friday at Sullivan Field. The victory for Los Alamos (2-2) snapped a two-game slide.
Hilltopper running back Arnoldo Ortiz rushed for 139 yards and three touchdowns and quarterback Brice Van Etten and slot receiver Seth Drop connected for five completions and 98 yards on the evening.
