KRSN adds FM signal

A worker sets up the FM antenna at the top of KRSN’s broadcast tower Thursday morning. KRSN was off the air this morning so the antenna could be installed. The new FM signal for the local radio station will be broadcast on 107.1. KRSN owner Dave Sutton said barring any inclement weather, the FM station could be on the air this afternoon.

The new FM signal from KRSN on 107.1 MHz is now blocking the signal from ABQ station KNKT.

KNKT is a low-power signal providing non-profit broadcasting. It is also a local radio station that can be heard from the Los Alamos area.

I think it's a mistake to let KRSN to broadcast on 107.1 MHz.
