-A A +A
By The Staff

Current Los Alamos County Council member David Izraelevitz announced during the KRSN Morning Show today his intention to run to retain his seat. Izraelevitz was appointed to the seat by councilors in 2011, filling a vacancy left by Jim Hall, who was appointed by Gov. Susana Martinez to the then-vacant House Distirct 43 seat.
Izraelevitz is a Democrat and his seat is one of four on the council up for election this year.
“This is the first time I’m really going through a formal campaign,” Izraelevitz said on KRSN. “I have a lot of learning to do.”
