Young prospects Tom Murphy and Trevor Story led the Albuquerque Isotopes (45-54) to a 7-4 come-from-behind win against the Reno Aces (46-53) Thursday night at Aces Ballpark in Reno, Nevada. Murphy’s eighth-inning RBI single gave the Isotopes a 5-4 lead, and Story’s two-run home run in the ninth was the icing on top.

Reno jumped on the board first with a run in the second, but Albuquerque responded with a pair of runs in the third courtesy of a two-RBI triple from Rafael Ynoa.

The Aces quickly regained the lead with a three-spot in the fourth to take a 4-2 advantage.

The Isotopes didn’t start their rally until the eighth inning when Ynoa drew a leadoff walk. After a Story single, Cristhian Adames and Kyle Parker notched back-to-back RBI base knocks to tie the game. Murphy then delivered the go-ahead RBI single to drive in Adames. After another leadoff walk in the ninth, Story blasted a two-run homer over the left-center field wall.

Colorado Rockies top catching prospect, Murphy, joined the Isotopes ahead of Thursday night’s game and earned his first start. He notched his first Triple-A hit with two-out double in the fourth inning, but his big knock came in the eighth.

The Isotopes return home at 7:05 p.m. tonight and the first 2,500 fans 21-and-older will receive a free beer stein courtesy of Miller Lite.

There will also be post-game fireworks, weather permitting, following Dukes Retro Night on Saturday and a jersey giveaway courtesy of Bank of the West on Sunday.
