– The Los Alamos County Lodgers’ Tax Advisory Board (LTAB) is hosting a free ambassador training for the hospitality industry from 2 to 4 p.m. on March 18, 2008 at the UNM Los Alamos Campus. The purpose of the training is to invigorate Los Alamos’ service workers and promote Los Alamos as a tourist destination.
“We’ve worked hard to attract out -of -town visitors to Los Alamos,” explained Brad Duni, chair of LTAB. “Once we get them here, we want to exceed their expectations, and this training is designed to give workers in the tourism industry useful tips and suggestions.”
The training is being led by LTAB contractor Griffin & Associates, an Albuquerque-based marketing firm.
