Art openings
Zane Bennett Contemporary Arts presents “Contemporary Art from Latin America,” featuring paintings, prints and sculpture by Pablo Atchugarry, José Bedia, Roberto Matta, Carlos Cruz-Diez, Carlos Rojas, Antonio Segui, Refuio Tamayo, Frederico Herrera and Engels. The show opens with a reception from 5-7 p.m. Saturday. The exhibit will be on display until Aug. 24. The gallery is located at 435 S. Guadalupe St., Santa Fe.
Join Los Alamos County Library’s Carol Meine for the opening of an exhibit in her long-running series of works on paper, “Drawing: X Marks the Spot,” from 5-7 p.m. Aug. 3 at the Las Cruces Museum of Art. “Context and Content,” a show by Besty Williams will open with a reception from 5-8:30 p.m. Aug. 3 at Weyrich Gallery, 2935 D Louisiana Blvd. NE, Albuquerque. The show will be on display through Aug. 31.

Spanish Market will be from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and from 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday on the Plaza in Santa Fe.
The 40th Annual Girls Inc. Arts and Crafts Show will be from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Aug. 4 and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Aug. 5 on the Santa Fe Plaza. Admission is free.
