A quartet of Los Alamos School of Gymnastics’ Atomic Tumblers won gold medals in individual events at the level 4-6 compulsory state meet.

The state compulsory meet was held in Belen Feb. 26-28.

Sally Grindstaff, Luvina Lucero, Katya Skurikhin and Claire Garnett were all winners at the state meet, with Skurikhin winning a pair of events.

Skurikhin, competing in the level 6, 10-and-under division, won both the uneven parallel bars and vault competitions. Skurikhin finished with a 9.25 on the vault to earn the gold in that event and a 9.20 in the uneven parallel bars to claim that victory.
