Mikayla Pulliam and Megan Kuzmack were the top finishers for the Los Alamos Atomic Tumblers at the Eagle Ridge Gymnastics Autumn Invitational.
The Autumn Invitational was held Nov. 7 in Rio Rancho. More than 140 gymnasts from eight New Mexico clubs took part in the event.
Kuzmack finished with an all-around score of 34.00 to take fifth place in the level 6, 12-14 age division, while Pulliam had a 33.75 all-around score, giving her third place in the level 5, 12-and-over division.
In level 6 competition, Kuzmack was third in floor exercise, scoring an 8.80 in the event. She also finished fourth in vault (8.75) and took seventh in both the parallel bars (8.45) and balance beam (8.00).
Pulliam, for her part, was second in floor exercise (8.80) and vault (8.55). She took fifth on balance beam (8.55) and sixth on bars (8.30).
Pulliam’s teammate in the level 5 competition, Elise Kessler, was 15th overall.
In the level 5, 9-year-old division, Carley Stilwell had a 32.70, which was good for sixth place. Stilwell took fourth place on vault (8.60), fifth on beam (7.95), seventh on bars (7.95) and eighth on floor (8.20).
Katya Skurikhin finished eighth in the 7-11 age division in level 6, taking fourth on vault (8.70), vault (8.55), fifth on beam (8.10) and sixth on bars (8.30).
In the level 5, 10-year-old division, Jenna Weatherbie had a 31.25 all-around score.
She finished tied for seventh on beam (8.10).
Annija Westfall was the lone Tumblers’ representative in level 4, taking seventh in the 10-year-old division. She was second on bars (7.60), fourth on beam (7.15) and sixth on vault (8.30).
The Atomic Tumblers will take part in a meet in Los Lunas Saturday.
