Local golfer Bruce Norman finished just two strokes behind the leader at Wednesday’s Northern New Mexico Senior Men’s Golf Association tournament.
Wednesday’s tournament, hosted by Los Alamos Golf Course, was the final regular season tournament for the NNMSMGA. Its season championship tournament is scheduled for later this month.
Norman shot a 78 in the championship flight, two shots behind Santa Fe’s Robert Schneider, who took top honors in the flight.
Earning low net score on the tournament was another Los Alamos golfer, Reid Griffith, who had an adjusted score of 68.
Also Wednesday, Los Alamos’ John Sutton was the low net score in the first flight (70), while local golfer Spike Jones had the low gross score in the second flight (86).
