Local resident Ron Krantz was one of the big winners at the Northern New Mexico Senior Men’s Golf Association Championship Tournament.
The two-day championship tournament was held Sept. 23-24 at Isleta Eagle Golf Course in Albuquerque.
Krantz finished with the overall low net score in the championship flight, finishing with a two-day total of 125.
Henry Hodde of Santa Fe was the overall gross winner, shooting a combined 145 in his two rounds.
Along with Krantz, several players from Los Alamos had strong showings at the event. Larry Stretz finished as the second low gross in the men’s first flight with his 156, while Jeff Brown won the men’s second flight with his score of 162.
Also at the tournament, Jay Boettner, Kerry Coffelt and Gary MacDonald all made the leaderboard in their respective flights.
