George and Joyce Berzins

George and Joyce Berzins celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a month-long cruise in the Mediterranean Sea and tour of Italy and Turkey. The family celebrated together at Disney World in December.
George Berzins and Joyce Rasmussen were married Sept. 17, 1960 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Greenville, Mich.
George is a retired physicist from Los Alamos National Laboratory where he was employed for 31 years. The couple has been residents of Los Alamos for 44 years, with a sabbatical year in New Zealand.
They are parents of Bryan Berzins of Albuquerque and Laura (Bradlie) Drury of Denver.  Their three young grandchildren are Jacob, Eli and Tyler Drury.
