Stephen Geisik, the man that was accused of having sex with a 12-year-old girl in 2012 was found guilty in district court today of the crime on all three counts relating to the crime.

The charges against him included two counts of criminal contact with a child under the age of 13 and one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Geisik was 21 at the time the crime was committed.

In April 2012, Giesik was arrested for the crime, which was the result of a confession he made to Det. Paige Early that he indeed did have sex with her. According to his own confession, one of those times occurred during a party at his house in March.

After he told friends at the party he was going out for cigarettes, she offered to come with him. On the return trip they then headed to a secluded area in town to have sex in his car. According to victim’s own testimony, the sex was consensual.
