I want the community to know that the Frito Pie Dinner/Ice Cream Social fundraiser put on by the women of the House of Hope, Vacation Bible School and the Rainbow Trails Day Camp of Trinity on the Hill Episcopal and Bethlehem Lutheran Churches was a resounding success!
Thanks go to so many, but first off, thank you to the Monitor (Kirsten Laskey’s articles), KRSN (Nancy Coombs interview) and RSVP at the senior center for their support and getting the information out to our community.
We also thank the community businesses and organizations who so graciously let us post our flyers. These loving acts by our local businesses show us why we need to support them whenever we can. The entertainment by the children was delightful and enjoyed by all. They and their teachers deserve many accolades.
To all those, (there were so many of you that there is no room to list you all) who helped before, during and after the event, our spouses and children, we thank you.
We needed everyone to succeed.
Most of all, we thank our community – the churches that work so well together, the parents who so willingly shared their children with us and everyone who shares in our concern for our fellow beings. God love you all.
