Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado in Santa Fe will play host to the inaugural Four Seasons Food Truck — known as the FS Taste Truck — this week, rounding out a more than 1,000-mile journey for the brand’s first mobile food truck.

“We are fortunate to count Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado among the eight West Coast properties joining in the inaugural FS Taste Truck tour,” said Director of Food and Beverage Rich Poskanzer.  “Santa Fe’s eclectic, inventive food culture is the perfect venue to serve up Four Seasons favorites in an unexpected way.  We look forward to closing out the tour in a big way.”

The FS Taste Truck journeyed Nov. 4 to the last stop on the tour, Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe.  Executive Chef Mel Mecinas of Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North will travel to Santa Fe to pass the torch to Executive Chef Andrew Cooper of Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe.

The chefs teamed up for a chile-themed cook off in the Plaza of downtown Santa Fe on Nov. 5.

After Chef Mecinas departs, Chef Cooper continued the Food Truck festivities with a partnership lunch with locally based Cooking with Kids at Tesuque Elementary School on Nov. 6.

Join the FS Taste Truck on Friday, for dinner and a movie at Regal Cinema Santa Fe from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 9, bringing a stop at the Railyard Farmer’s Market and a dinner that night at Santa Fe Brewing Company, celebrating the release of their Black IPA.  The tour will close out with breakfast at FUZE-SW at the New Mexico Museum of Art on Nov. 10.

“Four Season’s Taste Truck coming to Santa Fe will not only be great fun but underscores Santa Fe’s reputation as an outstanding culinary destination,” said Cynthia Delgado, Marketing Director for the Santa Fe Convention and Visitors Bureau.

The FS Taste Truck’s more than 1,000-mile journey began in mid-September at the brand’s property in Palo Alto. Each participating property is taking over the truck in their respective destinations for one week, executing an exciting, mouth-watering series of events as well as mobile menus inspired by their cities.

In addition to providing an exceptional culinary experience, the FS Taste Truck tour benefits a good cause. Following its completion, a portion of the total proceeds of the tour will be donated to Chefs to End Hunger, a charity that works with hotels, restaurants and food service operations across the country to redistribute excess prepared food to those in need.
