AND AN UPPER LEVEL SYSTEM MOVING ACROSS THE CENTRAL ROCKIES AND CLIPPING NEW MEXICO WILL KEEP THE RISK OF LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL AND FLOODING ACROSS PORTIONS OF NORTH AND CENTRAL NEW MEXICO. EXPECT SCATTERED SHOWERS AND SOME THUNDERSTORMS TO CONTINUE INTO TONIGHT. AREAS THAT EXPERIENCED HEAVY RAIN ALREADY THE LAST FEW DAYS WILL BE MOST SUSCEPTIBLE TO FLOODING... AS WILL RECENT BURN SCARS.

* WITH MUCH OF THE AREA EXPERIENCING SATURATED SOILS FROM PREVIOUS AND ONGOING RAIN... ANY MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINFALL OF SIGNIFICANT DURATION WILL HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE HEAVY RUNOFF AND LOCALIZED FLASH FLOODING. STREET FLOODING... PERHAPS CAUSING ROAD CLOSURES...
