Northwest
Abiquiu Lake: Fishing was good using homemade dough baits from anchored boats for catfish. Anglers did best fishing the late evening hours anchored in the main channel. Walleye fishing was good trolling crank baits, spinner-nightcrawler combinations and bottom bouncer nightcrawler combinations at a depth of 10 to 15 feet over 20 feet of water. Fishing was fair using crank baits, tubes and jerk baits for smallmouth bass. The surface water temp was in the low to mid 60s.
