Bluewater Lake: June 2, Dalton King of Aztec caught a 43-inch tiger musky. He was using a custom-dyed skinny dipper. June 3, Rodney Gonzales of Grants caught a 31-inch, 14-pound catfish. June 3, Doug Manley of Albuquerque caught a 45-inch tiger musky. He was using a Dynamic FX Fury.
Caballo Lake: June 2, Korin Ortiz of El Paso caught a 24-inch, 5-pound walleye. Korin was trolling a white jig-nightcrawler combination.
Chama River: June 2, Andrew Coyne of Littleton, Colo., caught a 21-inch brown trout. He was using a nightcrawler.
Heron Lake: June 2, Micah Faharda, age 9, of Albuquerque caught a 30-inch, 8.5-pound lake trout. She was trolling a silver Panther Martin at 21 feet.
Stubblefield: June 2, Bryan Berry of Raton caught a 15-pound channel catfish. He was using chicken.
Northeast
Cabresto Lake: The lake and campground closed May 14 and will stay closed for about six months while the dam is being rebuilt.
