Catches of the Week
Bluewater Lake: April 5, Annette Gonzales of Grants caught a 41.5-inch, 18.5-pound tiger musky. She was using Zeke’s dough bait.
Navajo Lake: April 6, Travis Elledge of Farmington caught a 33 inch, 9 pound brown trout. He was using a crank bait.
Heron Lake: April 8, Edna Harper of Coyote caught a 38-inch, 17-pound, 11-ounce lake trout. She was using a jig. April 9, Norma Wolfley of El Vado caught and released a 35.5-inch, 16-pound, 4-ounce lake trout. She was using a white tube jig in 40 feet of water.

Northeast
Animas River: As of Monday morning flow near Cedar Hill was 1,140 cfs. We had no reports from anglers this week.
Charette Lakes: Trout fishing was fair-to-good using Power Bait and salmon eggs.
Cimarron River: Water flow below Eagle Nest Lake as of Monday was 7.4 cfs. Trout fishing was slow.
