First Baptist Church offers children’s activities

First Baptist Church, 2200 Diamond Drive, is sponsoring three weeks of children’s activities in June. Vacation Bible School, “The Big Apple Adventure,” will be from 8:45 a.m.-noon, Monday-Friday, June 6-10.
The classes will feature Bible stories, missions, games, snacks, crafts, contests and prizes.  It is free and open to those who have finished grades K through 6. Call the church office at 662-3712 to register.

Backyard Bible Clubs
During the last two weeks of June, there will be free Backyard Bible clubs, meeting in neighborhoods for five days, Monday-Friday, for one-and-a-half hours a day, featuring songs, Bible and missionary stories, snacks, Scripture memory, crafts, contests and prizes. The schedule is as follows:

June 20-24
10:30 a.m.–noon:  Hostess Ann Clegg, 567 Grand Canyon, 672-9601 (WR)
1-2:30 p.m.: Hostess Tracy Koh, 3765-A Villa, 662-1692 (Aspen School area)
3–4:30 p.m.: Hostess Julie Stidham, 1926 Mendius Lane, 661-8160 (North Mesa)
