Hazmat and bomb squad robots, live snakes, raptors and Irish dancers will all be a part of the Family Strength Network’s Family Festival on Saturday. Families with children ages 3-12 will find crafts, face painting and a host of other activities to enjoy. Last year, about 500 people enjoyed free popcorn, balloons and all the festival has to offer. This year’s event will be from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Fuller Lodge. There is no cost, but donations are requested. Los Alamos National Bank and CDC’s MainStreet program are sponsoring the event. FSN is a United Way Community Partner. Last year, Johanna Pigue, above left, and Shelby Fellows, right, served popcorn during the Family Festival.
