Eventful Saturday straight ahead

A full slate of activities may require some special planning, tough choices or both on Saturday.

Among them:

• Airport Open House – A pancake breakfast by the Experimental Aircraft Association and co-hosted by several organizations that make up the general aviation community takes place from 7:30-9:30 a.m. at the Los Alamos Airport. The open house runs until 11 a.m.

• Summerfest d’08 at Pajarito Ski Mountain begins with free shuttle service by Atomic City Transit from Sullivan Field from 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. The Nomads will play from 1-5 p.m.; lift services will be available from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

• Remax of Los Alamos’ Home and Garden Show takes place 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at Central Park Square.

Get your Saturday started early with the Gordons’ Concert Friday night. The Waybacks will take the stage at 7 p.m. at the Best Western Hilltop House.
