We mourn the passing of E. Morton Bradbury after a short illness on Jan. 5, at St. Vincent Hospital in Santa Fe. He was in the presence of his family.
Morton was born on May 25, 1933 in Cardiff, Wales, United Kingdom. He obtained a Ph.D. in 1958 from King’s College, University of London. His academic appointments until his retirement in 2007 included head of the department of molecular biology in Portsmouth Polytechnic, departmental chair of biological sciences at UC Davis, and life sciences division director at Los Alamos National Laboratory.
