Duke City Soccer League results

In the sixth week of Duke City Soccer League action, the girls U11 Los Alamos Hotshots ‘02 prevailed 5-0 against the ‘02 Antero.
Both teams played without substitutes but Los Alamos was the fresher team throughout, controlling the action in the contest.
The Hotshot defense held Antero to 1 shot in the second half and the midfield and offense continually pressured Antero’s defense.
In the boys games, the U13 Lasers 2000 won 5-0 against the NM Rush Millenium.
David Gao had 2 goals while Jordan Currie, Andrea Runde and Ben Rees all picked up single goals.
Kauru Shimada and Christopher Blue had good outings in the midfield and the Lasers’ defense allowed only 2 shots and none on goal.
The U-12 Atomic City FC lost 5-1 to the Guadalajara Volcano. The lone goal for Atomic City came from Cade Cummins with an assist from Dakota Duran.
