Domitila Peinado Flock

FLOCK – Domitila Peinado Flock, age 94, passed away in Santa Fe on Feb. 26, 2008, quickly of natural causes.

She was preceded in death by husband, Miller Flock; son, Robert Flock; parents, Bruno and Rafaela Peinado; brothers: Robert Peinado, Bruno Peinado, Hector Peinado and Daniel Peindado; and sister, Magdalena Martinez.Domitila was born Dec. 27, 1913, and married Miller Flock in Madrid, N.M., on July 12, 1937. She attended New Mexico State Teachers’ College in Silver City, N.M. She was employed at Madrid General Store and Post Office, AEC Area Office in Los Alamos, LASL Travel Office in Los Alamos, and State of New Mexico State Parks and Planning.She is survived by sisters, Josephine Goodman and husband Tom, and Alice Rivera and husband Mariano; daughter, Ruth (Trutti) Collins; son, Carl Flock and wife Diane; grandson, Murray Flock; granddaughters, Tracy Strader and Taryn Flock; and great-grandson, Robert James Strader IV.A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, March 15, 2008, 11 a.m at McGee Memorial Chapel. Memorial contributions may be directed to American Diabetes Association.Arrangements are under the direction of Berardinelli Family Funeral Service, 1399 Luisa St., Santa Fe, NM 87505 – 505-984-8600.
