Dolores E. Rodriquez

Dolores E. Rodriquez, 77, a resident of Espaola and formerly of Los Alamos, passed away Wednesday, Nov.14, 2007, following a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose J. Rodriguez; parents, Isabel Viramontes and Sabino Escamilla; stepfather, Pablito Viramontes; granddaughter, Sonya Olivas and son-in-law, Don Woods. Dolores is survived by her brothers and sisters, Eddie Viramontes of Los Lunas, Paul Viramontes of Farmington, Daisy Hernandez and husband Joe of Rio Rancho, Terri Ortega and husband Ismael of El Paso, Lizzie Viramontes of Espaola, Lupe Shamy, and Anita Miramontes both of El Paso, her children; Bob Rodriguez of Espaola and Randy Rodriguez of Albuquerque; daughter, Cordie Woods of Nebraska, Annette Fernandez and husband Rudy of Espaola, Irene Olivas of Espanola, Gopie Woodwell and husband Glenn of Los Alamos and Daisy Guranich and husband John of Pecos, and Sylvia Romero of Espaola; 21 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.Visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, 2007, with a rosary to be recited at 2 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel of DeVargas Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at noon Monday, Nov. 19, 2007, at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Caada. Burial to follow at 2 p.m.
