April 1

Michael Pacheco was found guilty by the Los Alamos Municipal Court of driving six to 10 miles an hour over the speed limit. He was fined $50 and ordered to pay $46 in court costs.

Los Alamos Municipal Court found Tomasita Bumpus guilty of driving six to 10 miles an hour over the speed limit. She was fined $50 and ordered to pay $46 in court costs.

John M. Scott was found guilty by the Los Alamos Municipal Court of driving six to 10 miles an hour over the speed limit. He was fined $50 and ordered to pay $46 in court costs.

Anita C. Barela was found guilty in Los Alamos Municipal Court of speeding six to 10 miles an hour over the speed limit. She received a May 30 deferred sentence and was ordered to attend defensive driving school. She was also ordered to pay $46 in court costs.

April 2

James E. Justice was found guilty in Los Alamos Magistrate Court of battery against a household member. He was ordered to pay $73 in court costs and undergo 364 days of supervised probation.
Probation conditions are:
Defendant will obey all laws and not be arrested, indicted, charged or convicted of any other offense. Defendant will comply with all court ordered conditions of probation. Defendant shall enter and participate in alcohol/drug screening with any treatment, counseling or program with at least six sessions recommended by the screener. Defendant will enter and participate in a 52 week domestic class. Enrollment will be for 30 days. Defendant will also attend anger management classes, to continue with family counsel. Shall not possess or consume alcohol or enter a liquor establishment. Shall not possess a firearm, destructive device or weapon. Defendant will meet with probation officers within seven days and maintain contact as instructed.
Defendant shall pay $25 a month in probation fees; payment to be made with the Los Alamos Municipal Court. Defendant will not have contact with the victim unless approved by the court and the probation officer.

Cisco Begay was found guilty in Los Alamos Magistrate Court of driving while under the influence of liquor and/or drugs with a blood alcohol level of .08 or above. The original charge was aggravated driving while under the influence of liquor and/or drugs with a blood alcohol level of .16 or above. He was sentenced to 364 days of supervised probation and ordered to pay $241 in court costs.

Conditions of probation include obeying all laws and not be arrested or convicted of any other offense while on probation. Defendant will comply with all conditions of probation. Defendant will also enter and participate in all alcohol and drug screening programs, with at least six sessions recommended. Defendant shall also participate and complete DWI school within 90 days. The defendant shall also enter and successfully complete the Victim Impact program within 90 days.

The defendant shall also obtain an ignition interlock license and have ignition interlock devices installed on all cars defendant will be driving for one year.
The defendant shall not enter an establishment that buys or sells alcohol. Defendant shall not possess a firearm, destructive device or weapon. Defendant must meet with probation officer within seven days and maintain contact. Defendant must also perform 24 hours of community service within three months.
Probation to run concurrent with Bernalillo County Probation Office.

Leonid Burakovsky received a traffic camera citation from the Los Alamos Municipal Court of speeding six to 10 miles an hour over the speed limit. He received a May 31 deferred sentenced and ordered to attend defensive driving school. He was also ordered to pay $46 in court costs.

Deborah R. Duran received a traffic camera citation from the Los Alamos Municipal Court for driving 11 to 15 miles an hour over the speed limit. She was ordered to pay $46 in court costs and received a deferred May 31 sentence. She was also ordered to attend defensive driving school.

Kimberly Scott was found guilty by the Los Alamos Municipal Court of failing to yield/stop at a sign. She was fined $50 and ordered to pay $46 in court costs.
