Jerome Montoya, 24, of Los Alamos pleaded guilty in Municipal Court on charges of battery and disorderly conduct. Judge Alan Kirk sentenced Montoya to two days in jail, 20 hours of community service and $41 in fees for the battery charge and two days in jail and $41 in fees for the disorderly conduct charge.
Angela Cordova, 28, of Española pleaded guilty in Municipal Court to the charges of two counts of failure to appear in court, one count of failure to pay fines, one count of failure to pay a penalty assessment, two counts of failure to appear in court, and entered no plea on the charges of one count of failure to pay fines and two counts of failure to appear in court held over from Sept. 18. Judge Alan Kirk sentenced Cordova to pay a $50 fine and $46 fee on each of the two counts of failure to appear in court, one count of failure to pay fines. The judge also ordered Cordova to pay a $121 assessment fee and $50 and $46 in fees.
