June 25

Dung M. Vu was found guilty by the Los Alamos Municipal Court for speeding six to 10 miles an hour over the speed limit. Defendant was fined $50 and was ordered to pay $65. 

June 26 

Dawn Barr was found guilty by the Los Alamos Municipal Court of having animals that made too much noise. Defendant was ordered to pay $60 in court costs. Sentence deferred until Sept. 25. 

 

James F. Cleland was found guilty by the Los Alamos Municipal Court of failing to yield in a right-of-way. Defendant was fined $65 and sentenced to defensive driving school. Sentence deferred until Aug. 24. 

 

Billy F. Smith was found guilty by the Los Alamos Municipal Court of not having proper car insurance and failing to display a current, valid registration plate. Defendant was fined $100 and ordered to pay $130 in court costs. Sentence for registration violation deferred until July 25.  

 

Michael F. Martinez was found guilty by the Los Alamos Municipal Court for speeding six to 10 miles an hour over the speed limit. Defendant was fined $50 and was ordered to pay $65.

 

Leo Urbina was found guilty by the Los Alamos Municipal Court of speeding six to 10 miles an hour over the speed limit  and not having a proper chauffeur/operator’s license. Defendant was fined $100 and ordered to pay $130 in court costs.

 

James M. Johnson was found guilty by the Los Alamos Municipal Court  of following too closely and causing an accident. Defendant was fined $150 and ordered to pay $65 in court costs. 

June 28

Daniel Castanada was found guilty by the Los Alamos Municipal Court of speeding 11 to 15 miles an hour over the speed limit. Defendant was fined $75 and ordered to pay $65 in court costs.

June 30

Ashley Bullis was found guilty by the Los Alamos Magistrate Court of criminal damage to property (under $1,000), failure to give immediate notice of accidents, not having a drivers license and failure to notify owner upon striking fixture or property. Defendant was sentenced to unsupervised, two-month probation. Defendant was ordered to pay $256 in court costs. Sentence deferred until Aug. 30 2014.

 

Christopher Davis, was found guilty by the Los Alamos Magistrate Court of speeding 31 to 35 miles an hour over the speed limit. Defendant was fined $150 and ordered to pay $82 in court costs.

 

 

Angelic M. Martinez was found guilty by the Los Alamos Municipal Court  of incorrectly emerging from an alley, driveway, or building and causing an accident. Defendant was ordered to pay $65 in court cost. Defendant was also sentenced to defensive driving school. Sentencing deferred until ug. 28. 

 

David R. Herrera was found guilty by the Los Alamos Municipal Court of speeding one to five miles an hour over the speed limit. Defendant was ordered to pay $65 in court costs. Sentence deferred until Aug. 28.  

July 1

 

Antonio Carmona pled no contest to the Los Alamos Magistrate Court to not doing proper turning movements and required signals and use or possession of drug paraphernalia.

Defendant was fine $60 and ordered to pay $209 in court costs.

 

Hector M. Renteria-Madrid was found guilty by the Los Alamos Municipal Court of failing to appear in court. Defendant was fined $25 and ordered to pay $146 in court costs.

 

Darlene E. George was found guilty by the Los Alamos Municipal Court for speeding six to 10 miles an hour over the speed limit. Defendant was fined $50 and was ordered to pay $65. 

 

Lisa A. Bustos was found guilty by the Los Alamos Municipal Court of speeding six to 10 miles an hour over the speed limit and failing to pay court fines and costs. Defendant was fined $75 and ordered to pay $130 in court costs.

 

 Sherry Hampton was found guilty by the Los Alamos Municipal Court of not properly storing materials outdoors and having inoperable vehicles. Defendant was ordered to pay $120 in court costs. Sentencing deferred until Aug. 1.
