June 11

Emelia Esquibel was found guilty by the Los Alamos Municipal Court of driving without seatbelts. Defendant was fined $25 and ordered to pay $27 in court costs.
Defendant was also found guilty by the Los Alamos Municipal Court of three counts of failing to pay and/or appear. Defendant was fined $150 and ordered to pay $199 in court costs. In total Defendant was fined $175 and pay $226 in court costs.

Kevin M Mertes was found guilty by the Los Alamos Municipal Court of speeding six to 10 miles an hour over the speed limit. Defendant was fined $50 and ordered to pay $65 in court costs.

June 12

Yvette A. Maes was found guilty by the Los Alamos Municipal Court of speeding 11 to 15 miles an hour over the speed limit and failing to pay court costs and/or fines. Defendant was ordered to pay a $25 fine and ordered to pay $130 in court costs. Defendant was sentenced to defensive driving school. Sentence deferred until Aug. 11.

Micah Shawn Jakalewicz was found guilty by the Los Alamos Municipal Court of failing to display a current or valid registration plate and failing to appear in court. Defendant was fined $25 and ordered to pay $130 in court costs.

Billy Montoya was found guilty by the Los Alamos Municipal Court of speeding 11 to 15 miles an hour over the speed limit. Defendant was fined $75 and ordered to pay $65 in court costs.

Charles W. Morris was found guilty by the Los Alamos Municipal Court of following too closely and causing an accident. Defendant was ordered to pay $65 in court costs. Defendant was also ordered to attend defensive driving school. Sentence deferred until Aug. 11.

Arlene M. Merayo was found guilty by the Los Alamos Municipal Court of improper backing and causing an accident. The defendant was ordered to pay $65 in court costs. Sentencing deferred until Aug. 10.

Kirk D. Ellard was found guilty by the Los Alamos Municipal Court of failing to display a proper registration plate. Defendant was fined $25 and ordered to pay $65 in court costs.

Tammi V. Froggett was found guilty by the Los Alamos Municipal Court of speeding 11 to 15 miles an hour over the speed limit. Defendant was fined $75 and ordered to pay $65 in court costs.
June 17

Sabrina Little was found guilty by the Los Alamos Magistrate Court of driving under the influence of liquor and/or drugs (.08 or above) (First Offense). The original charge was aggravated driving while under the influence of liquor and/or drugs (.16 or above)(First Offense).
The defendant was ordered to pay $241 in court costs, as well as a $500 fine which was suspended. Defendant was also assigned 24 hours of community service and 90 days in the Los Alamos County Detention Center with 90 days suspended. Defendant was also assigned to a 364 days of supervised probation.

Probation conditions include: Defendant will meet with probation officers within seven days and maintain contact as instructed.
The defendant is to participate in alcohol education classes or treatment with at least six sessions. The defendant shall enter, participate in and successfully complete DWI school within 90 days. The defendant shall enter participate in and successfully complete the Victim Impact program within 90 days.

Defendant must also obtain an ignition interlock license and have an interlock ignition device installed on all vehicles defendant drives for one year. The defendant will pay all costs associated with installing the interlock devices as well.
Defendant will obey all laws and not be arrested, indicted, charged or convicted of any other offense. Defendant will comply with all court ordered conditions of probation. Defendant shall not possess or consume alcohol or enter a liquor establishment. Defendant must contact the probation officer prior to leaving New Mexico.
The defendant must also complete 24 hours of community service, and commit to paying $25 a month probation fees to the Los Alamos Municipal Court.

Andy A.Trujillo pled no contest in the Los Alamos Municipal Court to failing to appear in court. Defendant was ordered to pay $65 in court costs. Defendant’s sentence deferred until Aug. 18.

Timothy L. Cox was found guilty by the Los Alamos Municipal Court of failing to yield to a right-of-way at an intersection and causing an accident. Defendant was ordered to pay $65 in court costs. Defendant was also ordered to perform community service. Sentencing deferred until Aug. 18.

Gina Smith pled no contest in Los Alamos Municipal Court to having animals at large. Defendant was ordered to pay $60 in court costs. Sentencing deferred until Aug. 18.

Cynthia Deschamp pled no contest in Los Alamos Municipal Court to two counts of having animals at large. Defendant was ordered to pay $120 in court costs and a $50 fine.
