April 14

Tammy Mendez was found guilty by the Los Alamos Magistrate Court of speeding 11 to 15 miles an hour over the speed limit. Sentence was deferred on conditions of probation. Once probation conditions are completed by June 14, defendant will have charges dismissed against her, but a record of the charge will still exist. If defendant does not comply with conditions, charges will be reinstated. Defendant was ordered to pay $86 in court costs.
